Born and raised in the Austin, Texas area, Karly earned her Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s University School of Law in May 2026, graduating with honors as a member of The Harlan Society. Her credentials include:

Karly’s legal interests include Property Law, Contract Law, Estate Planning, Business Law, and Administrative.

With a diverse background as a lifeguard, cupcake decorator, server, county switchboard operator, juvenile detention officer, and pawnbroker, Karly truly considers herself a “Jill of all trades.” She joined Artie Pennington Law Offices in the Summer of 2024 and has been an enthusiastic, dedicated part of the team ever sincenow continuing on as an Associate Attorney alongside Artie, Kim, Hannah, and Bruna.

Outside of work, she enjoys learning new things, reading, drawing, solving puzzles, bike riding, and spending time outdoors — especially when animals are involved.
